OCTOBER JOURNAL

Last night of the tour.... I can't believe it. We have missed our band mates tremendously, and everyone is a bit tired and ready for home. Yet, we have been strangely energized by our Augustana and Everything After segment of the tour. I have a great deal of respect for Augustana. The friendships we have developed and chemistry we have while playing together is undeniable. Can't forget about our boy Mr. Daniel Eisenberg on the keys. He worked his butt off, and it is always a pleasure. Even felt a little like Glider up there a few times!
It was a lot of fun last night having my friends the Bryan Brothers sit in on Hanginaround (click to view video!). We all share a serious love of music and tennis. They are the number 1 doubles team. Not only are Mike and Bob the best in the world, but they are the nicest people you could meet. Note above: Mike Bryan getting his props while playing guitar.
It is hard to sum everything up at this point, but we have definitely enjoyed this tour. I know it has not been the most ideal venues, and people would prefer longer sets. However, I am so proud of the fact that this band lays it out there each and every night with so much heart, soul, and energy. Not to mention 70 plus songs in continuous rotation - expect the unexpected! Thanks to everyone who has continued to support us, and there will be many more shows to come.
