Time flies kiddies, can't stop it but I still try.   Let's see... what has been going on since last time we spoke.... Oh yeah, I am getting married.   That is a pretty big news.   Three days after our wedding party I am gone on tour. The good news is that three weeks later we will be reunited for a honeymoon in Italy that will eventually take us to Venice for our show at the Heineken Music Festival.   Pretty exciting stuff!   Between the marriage and the record coming out, I have to remind myself to breathe.   Now almost half the band will be married. Although I wouldn't hold my breath for Immer, Dan, Adam or Millard.

We finished the Aidan Hawken record, which we are all extremely proud of.   I put a live band together and we had our first rehearsal yesterday.   It went really, really well.   The band features our boy Dave Bryson on guitar and the Mr. Jones on bass.   I have known Marty for quite some time but we have never played together, which is too bad because he is an amazing bass player.   We were grooving hard right from the downbeat.   We also have Jerry Becker on keyboards, who plays with Pat Monahan from Train.   Jerry plays everything well and is a real joker, I like him a lot. We were all very excited by how good everything sounded, but it will have to wait a while. After rehearsal, on the way to the car Bryson and I confessed... "That was great, see  you in October."   Ouch!

TV shows were boring other than the playing part.   Apple shows, were Apple shows.   I am looking forward to real full length touring.   Working all the new material in to the sets has been paying off because all the new stuff sounds great live and continues to evolve and improve.   We even put Sundays in the set recently. (One of my favs from the album besides Hanging Tree).

Looking forward to playing with Maroon 5 again as well.   Not only did they open up some CC/John Mayer shows, but I remember them playing in the parking lot everyday on a Sheryl Crow tour way back in the day.   I would walk out there to see them all the time.   Great band, nice guys and they have worked extremely hard for their success.

That's all I can think of for now.   Hope everyone comes out to see some shows this summer and as always.... thanks for listening!
